Pure Joy... sitting in Engine 41, from the Main Fire Station in Boston's Brighton Neighborhood. Willie has discovered that if he twists the red control of the breathing regulator that he's holding... air comes out. Will is HEAVILY into Firemen and Fire Stuff...

At Aunt Eleanor's Birthday Party... that's Eleanor, and Cousin Amy leaning against the doorway. Will just LOVES Birthday Parties...

Hmmmmmm... he's thinking about SOMETHING...

Uh, ohhh... playing with cameras is bad enough, but playing with GERMAN cameras is... well... a bit over the top. Maybe he'll be a dentist, someday...

William, with The Fabulous Donna-Marie in the background, working at her computer. D-M has a semi-telecommuting job which, along with my non-standard freelance schedule, allows us to spend a lot of time at home... so that we may enjoy Willie, and "be there" for him, while he's still a baby.

Willie is utterly hilarious... he's got an unusually well-developed sense of humor. He spotted me with the camera at the edge of the porch landing, ran over, turned around, wiggled his behind at me, and yelled "CHEESE!".

Will is fascinated by my metal lenshoods... and often tries to unscrew them. Sometimes, he's successful...

Modern Family Life -- Donna-Marie tutors Will on his ABC's, and arranges a Shopping Trip with her sister, Judie, on the 'phone.

D-M uses Willie to stuff a few more leaves into the bag...

Willie developed Staph Pneumonia of the blood, last year... a VERY serious illness (it's what killed Puppeteer Jim Henson), and spent a week at the North Shore Medical Center's Children's Hospital, in Salem MA. The infection had given him the most unbelievably intense fevers. The wonderful folks at NSMC took good care of him... and fed us well, as we spent the week in the room, with him. As you can see... being in the hospital was Just Another Day-To-Day Experience for him...

I guess that they're not ALL Happy Days...

My Grandmother used to frown, like that...
